Commercial Welding

Colin brings a lifetime of experience to his commercial work, and prides himself on creating work that is practical, durable and beautiful. Colin's past projects include metalwork projects of all types, including gates, staircases, goalposts and dog holes.

Welded Art

Colin has spent his life in commercial welding and has completed all kinds of projects for all kinds of clients. These days, though, Colin prefers to spend his time exploring the artistic side of welding, using his skills to create a wide range of unique, beautifully-made artefacts.

Off The Shelf Products

These days, Colin dedicates most of his metalworking efforts to creating unique, one-of-a-kind artistic objects inspired by his love of maritime and industrial heritage. These include both purely artistic creations like oversized keys and repurposed industrial fittings.

Colin Bellis is a welded metalwork artist and commercial welder from Lowestoft in Suffolk, England.

His lifelong passion for metalwork started with a blacksmithing apprenticeship in the early 1970's and continues today in his vast array of both artistic and commercial undertakings. From bespoke pieces to off-the-shelf items, Colin is always at work on something new. So if you're looking for a unique piece of welded art, or you're looking for help with a specific project in mind, Colin's the man to see.

Colin now divides his time between commercial freelance welding contracts and creating art for sale and for display. Colin's art often has a marine influence inspired by his growing up in the coastal village of Kessingland, and also by his lifetime of continued commercial work within the marine industry.
